A political decision far from Jeronimo Kataquapit’s remote northern Ontario community has shaped his summer. The 20-year-old from Attawapiskat First Nation is traveling upriver by canoe with his family on a 400-kilometre journey to reassert First Nations’ presence near the Ring of Fire region.
