After Typhoon Halong, Alaska Villages Confront Local Destruction, Lost Climate Funding

Nearly 50 villages along Alaska’s southwest coast are facing a long recovery after the remnants of Typhoon Halong tore through on October 11, displacing or evacuating more than 1,800 people, leaving two missing, and claiming one life.
