London, Ontario’s Solar-Powered 15-Minute City Could Grow All its Own Veggies…Some Day Soon

A recent Concordia University study modelling food self-sufficiency in London, Ontario’s West 5 neighbourhood suggests residents could, in theory, grow all their vegetables on less than 15% of rooftop, façade, and unused lot space, while cutting food transport emissions by 98% through a renewables-powered distribution system.
